A “Hymn of the Month” is one of the best ways to teach children to memorize 9 hymns per school year. A review of all 9 hymns in a MEDLEY, combining them all into one “song,” is one of the best ways. Offered here is a growing list of medleys for you to choose from. These have been written for and performed by students in first through sixth grade. If you are willing to use the hymns in the medleys as your hymns of the month, these offer arrangements that give an abbreviated sample of all 9 hymns. The performance time for each is about 15 minutes. They should be memorized. Each file offers an accompaniment as well as a melody-only version for the singers. The melody only requires far fewer pages to print. We would love to hear how these work for you.
